The Liskeard Traders Association actively promotes and supports the town’s vibrant community and business environment through a variety of events and initiatives. Our activities include organizing annual celebrations such as the Town Centre VE80 Day and VJ Day Street Parties.

 

We also coordinate family-oriented events, including Easter Bonnet Competitions, Family Fun Day, we held a six week trial of markets in Fore Street which provided local vendors and residents with a lively shopping experience. During the festive season, we host Santa’s Grotto in December, offering a magical experience for families.

 

In addition, the association has organised its first prestigious Liskeard Business Awards Gala Evening in October 2025 recognizing excellence within the local business community. To enhance seasonal appeal, we hold window dressing competitions for Halloween and Christmas, encouraging local retailers to showcase creativity and festive spirit.

 

Our ongoing efforts aim to strengthen community ties, boost local commerce, and create a lively, engaging town centre for residents and visitors alike.
